ElectroRoute, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan, is a fast-growing energy trading, services and supply company. Based in Dublin, the company was founded in 2011 and has a presence across nine European markets. Our clients and counterparties range from utility companies and power station owners to international trading houses and energy exchanges. We will shortly be starting to supply end customers too, starting in Britain.
Within the next six months we plan to offer short, medium and long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) to the owners of renewable power station assets (for example wind farms). At the same time we plan to supply electricity to end customers.
We need somebody to help us:
The successful candidate will work within our Middle Office function and wider ElectroRoute team and report directly to the Head of Risk Management and Infrastructure. You will have some exposure to equivalent operations in Ireland in this role.
Candidates should be rigorous, capable of standing their ground, highly analytical and comfortable working with a range of forecasting and modelling techniques, large datasets and impatient originators of physical positions.
You will need to develop and document pricing methodologies for generator and consumer customers. This entails analysis of customer half-hourly data to provide a deep understanding of consumption/generation profiles. You will need to turn around complex pricing requests in a timely manner in an environment where accuracy and exceeding the customer expectations is key.
