ElectroRoute enters long term Battery Trading Agreement with NTR Plc.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Leading Irish Energy Trading and services firm ElectroRoute is pleased to announce that it has entered into a long term agreement to optimise two battery storage projects on behalf of NTR plc, a leading European renewable investment firm.<\/p>\n

The battery storage facilities, located in Co. Wexford combine to provide 25MW capacity and will provide crucial grid firming services to the power system, allowing the system operators to integrate more renewables on the system whilst mitigating curtailment levels. The sites were recently awarded 10 year contracts for the supply of grid capacity in an auction held by EirGrid and SONI. ElectroRoute will operate the batteries within its growing battery portfolio, now standing at 275MW, and optimise revenues by utilising its AI powered Virtual Power Plant, ElectroRoute Core and its 24\/7\/365 trading desk located at in Dublin.<\/p>\n
