ELECTROROUTE ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM REORGANIZATION AND EXPANSION

Co-CEOs of ElectroRoute, Donal Flynn and Caoimhe Giblin, are excited to announce the reorganization and expansion of the Senior Management Team at ElectroRoute. As part of this strategic evolution, we have appointed several key leaders who will help drive our growth and innovation in the coming years.

Eamonn O’Donoghue – Chief Trading Officer

After four successful years as CEO of ElectroRoute Japan, based in Tokyo, Eamonn has returned to Europe to take on the role of Chief Trading Officer. During his tenure in Japan, he was instrumental in building and expanding our business. We are thrilled to welcome him back to lead trading initiatives across the company.

Alan Mullane – CEO of ElectroRoute Japan

Previously serving as Chief Risk Officer, Alan has relocated to Tokyo to assume the role of CEO of ElectroRoute Japan.  Alan will focus on leading the Japanese business, continuing its exciting growth trajectory, and capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the region.

John Furlong – Chief Financial Officer

John, who previously held the roles of Chief Administration Officer and CFO of ElectroRoute Japan, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer for the ElectroRoute Group. With over nine years at ElectroRoute and previous experience in investment banking and at PwC, John brings a wealth of financial expertise to this new role.

Brian Kennedy – Head of Client Origination

Brian, who has played a pivotal role in growing ElectroRoute into the largest independent trader of renewable energy and battery solutions in the Irish market, joins the Senior Management Team as Head of Client Origination. Brian will focus on delivering tailored products and solutions to clients in Ireland and the UK.

Glen Byrne – Chief Information Officer

Glen, who joined ElectroRoute over ten years ago, joins the Senior Management Team as Chief Information Officer. From the company’s early days as a start up, Glen has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technology landscape and developing its trading platform ElectroRoute Core.

Shane O’Rourke – Head of Middle Office

Shane has been named Head of Middle Office, overseeing risk, pricing, and portfolio management functions. Shane’s expertise from previous roles at BP, Petronas and Enel will be critical in optimizing these core areas of our business.

Gosia Mulholland – Head of Finance

Gosia steps into the role of Head of Finance, leading the Financial Control and Financial Operations teams. With her in-depth knowledge and experience, GM will ensure our financial processes remain robust and scalable.

The Co-CEOs, Donal and Caoimhe, along with the rest of the Senior Management Team— Catherine Kelly (Chief People Officer), Alex Bryson (Head of Special Projects) Sean McNeill (Proprietary Trading Manager), and Hirofumi Noda (Director of Business Management)—are looking forward to working alongside these new leaders.
