Atsushi Kadota
Atsushi Kadota was assigned as Director of Business Management at ElectroRoute in April 2025 from Mitsubishi Corporation.
Atsushi has vast experience in power sector since 2004, ranging from onshore windfarm, combined gas fired thermal power plant, coal fired plants, and combined heat and power system, offshore transmission through his carrier in Japan, Europe and Middle-East.
Before the career in ElectroRoute, Atsushi joined Diamond Transmission Corporation in London in December 2022 as the Business Development and Administration Director from Mitsubishi Corporation. He managed financial close of Hornsea 2 of OFTO offshore transmission projects, of which project value is £1.1bil.
Through various power business career, Atsushi has in depth experience in project finance, plant operation in administration and finance roles – such as debt finance management, budget/cash flow control, audit and communication with stakeholders and expertise in project acquisition and divestment through M&A transactions.
Atsushi is a graduate of Osaka University in Japan, holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Civil Engineering.
